“You were my lifeline when I needed it most.”

This week during one of our regular check-ins, we spoke with a client whose two dogs are currently in our care. She shared that she’s getting so close to being able to bring them home—a milestone that once felt impossibly far away.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. Like many survivors, she faced a heartbreaking decision: leave an unsafe situation and risk losing her pets, or stay trapped just to keep her family together. Thankfully, she found Paw in Hand.

Through tears, she told us: “You were my lifeline when I needed it most.”

We were able to say yes when she needed help. And we’ll keep saying yes—because every family deserves the chance to stay together, heal, and move forward.
